Website terms of use

Purpose

These terms govern the use of the owlseen.com website, published by FAKGROUP. They do not cover the Owlseen software, which will be governed by its license, or the hosted service app.owlseen.com, which doesn’t exist yet and will have its own terms before it opens.

Access to the site

The site is accessible free of charge. We may modify, suspend or discontinue it at any time, in particular for maintenance.

The software

Owlseen is under construction. What the site says about it describes what’s planned and may change before release. It will be distributed under the AGPL-3.0 license: you’ll be able to use, study, modify and redistribute it under its terms. If you install it yourself, you’ll be responsible for operating it, and in particular for complying with the GDPR for the data you store in it.

The posts

The blog’s posts and the glossary are general information, checked on the date given. They guarantee no result in search engines, whose rules and tools change. Comparisons with other tools reflect what those tools publish on the date given.

Intellectual property

The content of the site (text, visuals, logo) belongs to FAKGROUP, unless stated otherwise. Any reproduction that could suggest an official service is prohibited without permission.

Liability

The information on the site is provided for guidance only and may change as the software evolves. Links to third-party sites (Google, GitHub, Vercel…) lead to services whose content we do not control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris. For any question: contact@fakgroup.co.
